Evaluation of my questionaire

Evaluation of questionaire

I need further research to make my school magazine more effective and to tell me something about the choices students make about the typical magazines given out in a weekly bases. The questionnaire was given to 7 pupils at different age groups to see their views about the typical normal school magazines. As I have given the questionnaire to a range of students this gives me a fair result and makes me not look biased when opinions are made about the magazines. As a result I than analysed these given result shown by the analysis in the end.
I used this questionnaire to identify what type of thing I should put on my questionnaire for student who chose the other box they would choose what other things they would want the magazines to include. This helped me understand that all pupils’ choices are different and some people prefer typical advices instead of activities, whereas some just like to have their fun. In these question I have given students a range of choices and made things more specific instead of asking random question that doesn’t relate to the front magazine page that I intend to do.
After this I will evaluate the results of all question and making sure i use these answers to my advantage when doing the context page because a will have a overall understanding of what typical things inspire students and teachers.

To get the best results when trying to find out what features is best to suit my school magazine I don't further research to try and suit this magazine front cover to everyone. So I did a questionnaire and it was given to 5 different students and year groups so I can get a range of answers back so that I have a variety of things in my magazine front cover and contexts that suites the recommended boundaries for rhs.it was chosen at random to help me make my school magazine more personal to them. Then I have analysed the result and will show it in this PowerPoint. Many students don't read the magazine and there was a 75% that don't read it at all which shows that there's isn't much entrainment in them or things they enjoyed reading.35% of the rest which are mostly teachers enjoy reading the magazines in school feeling that they want to know the different achievements student have done during school terms. As a result it shows that in my magazine I would need to put things then people enjoy and make it attractive for the targeted audiences. Some students did say that they didn't enjoy reading school magazine because there were other accessories in school that entertain them and weren't boring.

Many students around 90% or more did say they did like the school uniforms. Some gave their reasons as it looks smart and very attractive for other people outside school to see them. Teachers also commented saying that the new school uniform makes a different on the appearances of school students because they look ready to learn and don't bother to much about the way they look as it has a smart look on them already. Some students day say that the new school uniform makes them look more mature in this case they love the whole make of the new school uniform that brings a different feeling to the new creation of the school. 10% mostly students did feel that school uniforms takes away individuality and doesn't let people show their unique skills. So therefore they dislike the new school uniform. Overall this shows that the new reconstructing and changes in the new school means that it has positive impacts on some individuals and some teachers on were the school is moving in the future. This therefore shows me that I can include the changes that has been already happening and what impact it has had on people. A school logo and a picture of the school uniform will be the best solution for my school magazine.  On the other hand some individuals didn't like the school uniform and i will have to add other things that has been happening in their new school to convey the message that there's other things to look forward to in school.

Well this was the critical question that I had to ask because therefore I could find out the things that different teachers enjoy seeing and what students also enjoy seeing. Also in the opposite of this the things that they don't enjoy as much. In this case I also left an other category to see if they had any suggestion what they would like to see if the things that were there didn't suit their liking. this helped me understand that not all pupils interest are the same, but in this case I will include things about trips because that was commonly chosen by students mainly. As a result this will increase the popularity and more school magazines wouldn't go to waste because this will mean that most pupils will be encourage to read the school magazines.
The highest category chosen was trips with the least about advices for school. This means that more pupils love to see more trips update and are concerned about the amount of fun things going on in their school. If this magazine was to sell out in the street this will immediately attract many buyers because many people would be interested in seeing trips and the things that is going in school with the updates in exams dates etc and this will mainly attract parents as it will show them what things are going on in school.

50% of the students mention that they like all colours to be used in the school magazines because it makes the school magazine stand out more. I gave a range of options they can choose from and others they could suggest. As they feel that all colours make a different on the appearance and the attractiveness of the front cover of the school magazine this means that in my front cover I will have to used a range of different colours were appropriate. The rest  of the students chose blue/white and red which means that i have to include these colours as they are vital in attracting the targeted audiences. Colours that didn't associate with the school logo were not chosen so this means that they were  not appropriate to be used in some areas of the school magazine as they wouldn't be appealing to teacher and students.
